Directed Biopsy

Precision. Accuracy. Confidence.

Blind biopsy has proven to have very low sensitivity and accuracy in the diagnosis of benign focal intracavitary lesions. Hysteroscopy continues to be the gold standard for assessment of abnormal uterine bleeding enabling direct visualization and targeted biopsy. The MyoSure system enables a visualized and complete removal of focal lesions while preserving tissue for histologic assessment.
